Welcome
The Athletic Rock 'n' Roll club was formed in February 2003. The atmosphere is very friendly and rockin'. It has a very large stage, separate disco booth and an excellent huge wooden sprung dance floor. It is not a members only club you are all welcome.
There is a band and disco every second Friday of the month, prices are £7
The bar area is roughly 25 foot long so its easy to get served, it shuts at midnight. The prices are very cheap with lager and beer starting at about £1.70. House doubles less than £2. The dancing normally finishes at 12:15. In the alcove we have a fifties shop selling everything including CDs.
We have both been into rock'n'roll for many years, and there was no club in Kettering so we decided to have a go at it. I am (Brian) currently playing drums with The Strollers, hope you have seen us play at your clubs, If not why not? You can check out our website www.strollersrockandroll.co.uk.

Sonny & The Honeydippers - 8th August 2008
First time here, we are pleased to welcome Sonny of Coast to Coast fame with his new band "The Honneydippers"With a brass section of three or four (depending who turns up on the night) and their own brand of Boogie and Rock 'n' Roll. Their popularity is growing fast. See you there!
